It was a great summer to return to Chemawawin and see all our friends again! Week #4 of our summer programs was a busy week with a full house every day (and an over-full house on a couple of the days). Most of the Pathway staff had also served in 2015, so it was a great time to catch up with everyone and renew our friendships.
We so enjoyed the use of the beautiful Chemawawin School and are thankful for the housing provided as well. Some of our former campers, Conrad, Ashanti, and Dylan provided help in the kitchen and beyond and we appreciate them!
It was good weather, for the most part, and we were able to spend an afternoon with the watermelon game and a round of “slip & slide.” Add to that great singing, chapel skits, water balloons, and good food and it makes a wonderful week.
Thanks to Chief and Council for supporting the program and to Cheryl Thomas for helping with the arrangements.
