Well, Spring Break 2016 has come and gone and Pathway was happy to spend the week with the great kids in Pinaymootang First Nation.
We started the week with nice weather – no snow, sunshine, and great temperatures to be outside for play. Who knew that by the end of the week we would have 4″ of snow. Even more has come since then and as we look out of our windows we see winter again! But we’re thankful for those few days in between!
Our staff was from Faith Academy in Winnipeg and they did a great job running games and crafts, leading chapel times and “campfire” skits, and serving everyone well. Thank you to a great team!
And the kids? Well, they were great too! They enjoyed dodgeball, a scavenger hunt, soccer baseball, and so many other games – not to mention the good food! 🙂
At the end of the week, the team was sad to go. It’s always hard to say goodbye to new friends.
But, we’re thankful that Pathway can continue to be in Pinaymootang School with Kids’ Clubs, so you’ll see us around for a while yet.
Thank you to Pinaymootang Education Authority for sponsoring the week.
