Saturday, October 1 was the date for this year’s Ride for Refuge, a fun and challenging day for people to come together in a bike-a-thon and raise support for charitable groups of their choice that work with displaced, exploited, or vulnerable people.
As a registered charity with Ride for Refuge, we were thrilled to have three teams participate in the day’s events, some riding 10 km and others riding 25 km.
The weather in Winnipeg was favorable, even with a strong wind–at least there wasn’t any snow! 🙂
We are happy to announce that through the work of these riders and the generosity of their friends and families, over $7,000 was raised to support the programs of Pathway Camp Ministries.
