Spring Break Camp 2015 in Pinaymootang First Nation

Spring Break is often a time when families head south to enjoy a break under the warm southern sun. Not so with many teens and staff from Faith Academy! Instead, two teachers and 11 students headed north to provide leadership to our Spring Break Camp in Pinaymootang First Nation.

Even though the weather was warmer than it has been in previous Spring Breaks (and there were even some puddles in place of snowbanks), it was far from a holiday on the beach.

The days were full of laughter and friends; from scavenger hunts to crazy skits, from good meals to tug-of-war, from crafts to the limbo rope, from chapel times to dodgeball. . . . everyone had a great time.
With an average attendance of 49 children/day, the halls of Pinaymootang School were lively and fun.

We wish to thank the Pinaymootang Education Authority for sponsoring our program, and, of course, Faith Academy for their dedication to service.
We were also pleased to share in the service at Fairford House of Prayer. Thank you for the warm welcome you showed to our team.
